Sensex erases gains, Nifty below 7750; SBI, Tata Steel fall

The Sensex was up 3.28 points at 25341.86 and the Nifty rose 3.20 points to 7738.40. About 1310 shares advanced against 1241 declining shares on BSE.

HDFC, SBI, M&M, Adani Ports, GAIL and Tata Steel were down 1-1.7 percent while ITC, HDFC Bank, Sun Pharma, HUL, Bajaj Auto and NTPC gained 1-2 percent.
