Live Equity Market Updates: Finally, BSE Sensex ended with a loss of 66 points at
24,900. The BSE Sensex opened at 24,957, touched an intra-day high of 25,079
and low of 24,835.The NSE Nifty closed with a loss of 18 points at 7,597. The NSE Nifty opened at 7,607 hitting a high of 7,653 and low of 7,582. The losses in pharma, capital goods, IT, utilities and FMCG counters weighed on the index.
The Indian Rupee was trading up by 8 paise at 66.49 per US dollar.
