  • Adani Ports, SBI, M&M, Coal India, ICICI Bank are top gainers while BHEL, GAIL, Infosys, ITC and TCS are losers in the Sensex. 
  • The market has opened in green but the Nifty is below 8700. The 50-share index is up 8.45 points at 8686.70 and the Sensex is up 42.38 points at 28127.54. About 243 shares have advanced, 87 shares declined, and 16 shares are unchanged.
  • Adani Ports, SBI, M&M, Coal India, ICICI Bank are top gainers while BHEL, GAIL, Infosys, ITC and TCS are losers in the Sensex.
  • Sebi miffed with new KYC system. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is miffed with the new central Know Your Customer (KYC) process implemented for the entire financial system. And, has written to the finance ministry to rethink the move, said three sources. According to Sebi, the new system is not in sync with the securities market KYC. And, has disrupted the common KYC process implemented through KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs).

Indian Stock Market Tips For Long Term

  • Lupin, Tata Motors, ONGC, M&M and Coal India are top gainers while Bajaj Auto, TCS, Hero MotoCorp, Reliance and Infosys are losers in the Sensex. Idea is down 4 percent post Q1 results.
  • The market has opened flat as investors prepare for Raghuram Rajan's last monetary policy review in few hours. The Sensex is down 11.07 points at 28171.50, and the Nifty is down 6.70 points at 8704.65. About 508 shares have advanced, 327 shares declined, and 40 shares are unchanged.
  • The Indian rupee opened flat at 66.84 per dollar versus previous close 66.84.
  • Skipper Ltd Q1 net jumps 37% to Rs 13.72 crore. Kolkata-based Skipper today reported a 36.9 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 13.72 crore for the quarter ended June 30, mainly on improved sales.

     Most emerging markets (EMs) rallied after Britian's central bank on Thursday cut borrowing costs and announced a stimulus package aimed at protecting its economy from the Brexit (vote to leave the European Union) fallout.
      Cognizant Technology Solutions, has cut its full-year revenue forecast (it follows a January-December financial year) for the second straight quarter, emphasising the challenges impacting the information technology sector.
       The US-based company has cut its full-year revenue growth estimate to $13.47 billion from $13.6 billion projected earlier. This represents a growth rate of 8.45-9.5 per cent, one of the lowest ever for the company.

Stock Market Update; Nifty Opens above 8550

  • The Sensex is up 131.39 points or 0.5 percent at 27828.90, and the Nifty up 40.55 points or 0.5 percent at 8585.40. About 707 shares have advanced, 125 shares declined, and 21 shares are unchanged.
  • Tata Motors, ONGC, Hero, BHEL and Maruti are top gainers while Lupin, Bharti Airtel, Infosys and HDFC Bank are losers in the Sensex.
    The Indian rupee opened higher by 14 paise at 66.85 per dollar versus 66.99 Wednesday.
  • World Economic Forum, will host its annual India Economic Summit here on October 6-7 which would be attended by over 500 business and political leaders including top policymakers and CEOs.
  • BSE receives 110 investor complaints in July, fixes 103
  • Leading stock exchange BSE said it received 110 complaints against 96 companies in July this year. During the period, the stock exchange resolved 103 grievances against 82 listed companies, according to a release. The resolved complaints include those brought forward from the previous period.

  • The market has opened flat with subdued global cues. The Sensex is up 12.99 points at 28016.11 and the Nifty is up 2.20 points at 8638.75. About 526 shares have advanced, 225 shares declined, and 53 shares are unchanged.
  • Sun Pharma, Maruti, Lupin, SBI and L&T are top gainers while ICICI Bank, HDFC, Infosys, wipro and Hero are among losers in the Sensex.
  • The Indian rupee opened marginally lower at 66.78 per dollar on Tuesday versus previous close 66.74.
    Tata Motors reported a 7.48 percent increase in total sales at 43,160 units in July.
    Domestic sales of Tata Motors' commercial and passenger vehicles grew 8 percent to 37,789 units in July over the same month of the previous year.

Indian Stock Market Tips Free on Mobile



The market has opened green. The Sensex is up 74.35 points or 0.3 percent at 27882.49, and the Nifty is up 1.95 points at 8523.      ONGC, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, BHEL and Coal India are top gainers while Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy's, HUL, Maruti and L&T are down.
     The Indian rupee opened higher by 9 paise at 67.09 per dollar on Wednesday against previous close 67.18.
        Indiabulls Real Estate said that it has raised Rs 25 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures (NCDs).   Last month, the Mumbai-based company had announced that it proposed to raise up to Rs 200 crore through issue of NCDs on a private placement basis. So far, the company has raised Rs 131 crore in three tranches.
          Demand for luxury residential and commercial properties (in London)- the segments some Indian homebuilders have invested in - may remain weak at least over the coming 6 to 12 months as buyers postpone purchases and banks trim loans amid increased economic uncertainty," it said in a report.
Share of Ruchi Soya Industries plunged 8 percent intraday Wednesday as it has received a winding up notice from one of the creditors. The company has received a copy of winding up petition filed by one of its creditors before the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay.
