The market has ended at four-month closing low. The
Sensex was down 554.50 points or 2.2 percent at 24851.83, and the Nifty was
down 172.70 points or 2.2 percent at 7568.30. About 690 shares have advanced,
2188 shares declined, and 94 shares are unchanged.
BHEL, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Axis Bank and
ONGC were laggards in the Sensex.
