After an extremely volatile session, the market has ended
with gains. The Sensex ended up 172.08 points or 0.7 percent at 24854.11 and
the Nifty gained 52.10 points or 0.7 percent at 7562.40. About 637 shares have
advanced, 2162 shares declined, and 166 shares are unchanged.
Infosys,
Reliance, Tata Motors, Hindalco and M&M were top gainers while Adani Ports,
L&T, Bharti Airtel, BHEL and Lupin were losers in the Sensex.
