The market ended flat with not much excitement throughout
the day. The Sensex was down 11.59 points at 25838.71 and the Nifty slipped
4.90 points at 7861.05. About 1539 shares have advanced, 1129 shares declined,
and 225 shares are unchanged.Vedanta, Bharti, Hindalco, GAIL and Tata Motors were top gainers in the Sensex. ICICI Bank, Maruti, SBI, ONGC and HDFC were top losers in the Sensex.
