points lower at 7,690, indicating a gap-down opening in the domestic market.

slide in crude prices and tepid CPI numbers in China have also set the stage
for fresh weakness in the domestic equity benchmarks on Wednesday.
Most Asian markets were trading in the red. Japanese
Nikkei was down 1.09 per cent at 19,280. China's Shanghai Composite was down
0.16 per cent at 10,339.
