Sensex, Nifty50 flat in trade;
Texmaco rail surges 8%, Eros 4%
Stock Market Outlook: The S&P BSE Sensex started on a cautious note on
Friday, led by losses in ITC, HDFC Bank, TCS, RIL, and L&T.
The Nifty50 came under pressure but was still trading above its crucial
psychological support level of 7,650, supported by gains in IT, capital goods,
consumer durable, and metal stocks.
Shares of Texmaco Rail surged over 8 percent while that of Eros International
Media gained over 4 percent in early trade.
Asian Market Outlook: Most other Asian markets traded
mixed. Japan's Nikkei traded higher by 1 per cent while the South Korean Kospi
traded lower by 0.35 per cent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was down 0.8 per
cent. China's Shanghai Composite was down 0.85 percent.
