Stock Cash Market Closing Updates with Intraday Equity Tips

BHEL, Vedanta, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel and GAIL were top gainers while HDFC, Coal India, Bharti Airtel, Reliance and Lupin were among losers. Maruti ended up 0.4 percent ahead of Q2 results.  

The market ended lower with the Nifty ending below 8300 mark. The 50-share index was down 34.90 points or 0.4 percent at 8260.55. The Sensex slipped 108.85 points or 0.4 percent at 27361.96.
